The lady who took my blood sample was very punctual. The part I cannot understand is she apologised that we had to go upstairs to do the test. Not a shock as that is where her office is. However, the bit I find odd is by the time we got into her office she was puffing and panting. I am 64 and had no problem walking up the stairs. Surely those working in the NHS should be "fit as fiddle". My experience of the NHS is I am surprised how many seem to be carrying some extra weight.
None of the extra questions make any sense as all communication was by text.
However, as I was asked to provide a water sample. I said, "I cannot because I emptied my bladder before coming out". Surely that could have been communicated to me by text saving me having to take my sample back. A strange lack of efficiency - if you ask me on behalf of the NHS.
"Ironic"
