"No urgency with appointments"

About: Carlton Street Surgery

(as a service user),

I phoned with extreme morning sickness, I knew I needed some anti sickness tablets. Really easy to prescribe and doesn't need a face to face appointment.

I was offered an appointment in 3 weeks time. In the heat, pregnant and sick. I think this is an awful service. No wonder maternity services across the UK are under such scrutiny when pregnant people can't get seen & are dismissed.

I phoned my midwife who can't prescribe and had to ring the GP themselves to get this sorted. It took most of the morning backwards and forwards with phone calls whilst feeling unwell.

I felt fobbed off, like my symptoms are not serious & that my experience in this sector is not taken into consideration at all.
