On a Saturday late June, my wife had a severe gum bleed, with blood every where - it was 5 am. Tried to contact her dentist but only got a message - Called 111, ambulance came. End product, we ended up at Barnet General. From the moment we arrived, the attention was exemplary.
The bottom line is that Franchesca from the Maxilo Facial department spent about 4 hours(on and off) trying to stem the blood flow-nothing worked and in the end she resorted to the extraction of two broken teeth, stitched up the wound-and bingo(!) we were allowed to go home-they would not discharge My wife while there was still bleeding.
Franchesca is the most amazing person, kind, caring, considerate, helpful, and very concerned about the welfare of her patient. I have never observed such dedication and care
We have to thank the NHS for finding Franchesca - I just hope that they retain her.
For all who read this we have the best NHS service!
