"Unswerving dedication"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Urology Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Urology

(as the patient),

Almost as soon as moving here I was diagnosed with sepsis and was admitted to North Devon Hospital. My kidneys decided to take a holiday and it looked like I might not come out. The care I received was phenomenal but I had to be transferred to Exeter for more specialist treatment. The ongoing care was truly fantastic and my kidneys decided to come back from their break. I was released from hospital when it was decided I was on the mend. Considering I have AF and a damaged liver, my ongoing care has been first class. I am not running Bristol (where I come from) down but the care feels more personal here. I am taking each day as it comes and would like to thank the staff of both hospitals for their unswerving dedication.
