"The staff were all very friendly and helpful"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I had a steam ablation treatment for an enlarged prostate at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline.

The process was very straightforward and although a bit uncomfortable not particularly painful.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially David which put all the patients at ease.

You have to have a catheter fitted for at least a week but hopefully once that is removed there should be an improvement 🤞

Dear Stormer

Thank you for sharing your story and feedback to care opinion. We are always very grateful the patients using our services take the time to do so.

I am sorry to hear you had some discomfort but reassured to know how straightforward the process was.

David will be delighted to have a mention and I look forward to letting him know. I am also very happy to know that the other staff were also friendly and helpful, the team do try to make a difference.

I hope the remainder of your time with the catheter is uneventful and you see an improvement in time following your procedure.

Best wishes

Jackie
