"Lack of communication and care"

I have sat for three months waiting for my blood results from the lipid clinic at Crosshouse to finally get a letter today saying I have missed a telephone appointment and if I no longer want to attend the clinic I should give my place to another patient. 

I haven’t received any letter about an appointment and am really upset at the lack of communication and care from my doctor. The letter was dictated three months ago and only just received.

I was transferred from children’s service to adult services four years ago and feel really let down and worried.

I have a genetic condition and feel the service are making no effort to help me and being quite rude saying I’ve missed appointments when I’ve not and not giving me results when tests have been done.

I don’t know what to do. I used to attend the children’s hospital from a young age at least twice a year to feeling like I’ve dropped out of care with no one to help. I’m on life long medications and supposed to be monitored.
