I was recently in ward 49 with my partner due to her having an hand/arm injury. The treatment we received on arrival was second to none. We were seen instantly and made to feel at ease with lots of reassurance and support.
Andy and Victoria couldn’t have been any better and helped my partner's nerves when work was being done on her arm. Andy immediately opened up about his personal struggles as soon as my partner mentioned she struggled with mental health. It took so much weight off her and made her realise she’s never alone and even health care professions struggle too.
We want to say a huge thank you to them both and also Lauren for stepping up and taking care of my partner's personal hygiene side, taking her to toilet etc. We congratulate Lauren and wish her the best in her new role when she graduates. We can’t thank everyone at ward 49 enough. This has definitely been our best experience at GRI!
