I had a very positive experience of intensive CBT. I felt my therapist created a very trusting atmosphere, in which I could talk freely and felt listened to. I found the techniques I was shown helpful to question my normal patterns of thinking, and I felt my therapist shown me techniques based on things I'd said about myself and which targeted the issues I'd highlighted and what I could manage. I feel I have been given tools to help me manage my anxiety and low self esteem in the future.
