"The FES service at BCH"

I attended 18 week review with Shona from FES service at Belfast city hospital. I’ve been a patient of the service since Nov/Dec 2024. I have progressive MS and had self referred into the service after seeing a zoom presentation where I couldn’t actually believe the improvement of a man dealing with ms.

From my first consultation the standard of care has been outstanding. Personally I have gone from having multiple falls each week due to foot drop to having no falls. My walking speed has increased greatly and my confidence is returning. All in all this service is a game changer for people with MS and it should be rolled out to every health trust
