"Reception staff are rude and unhelpful"

The reception staff were consistently rude and unhelpful. I contacted the surgery about a bug bite that had become infected. They told me to seek treatment at a pharmacy, but when I went to my local pharmacy, the pharmacist explained they couldn’t help because it required antibiotics.

I called Essex Way Surgery again to explain the situation and was told I’d have to wait three weeks for an appointment. In the end, I had to treat the infection myself using multiple things. This level of care, or the lack of it, is unacceptable, so I registered with another surgery.

I would never recommend Essex Way Surgery to anyone.
