I have moved back to Bristol after 16 years away. I am also a registered mental health nurse and understand the complexities faced by GP's since several practices have faced closure along with the national e-consult roll out. But it is important to provide some light in the darkness of the political landscape. Since joining this surgery I have been impressed by the level of support I have received in some very challenging times in my life. from joining the practice to the GP consultation, to the lovely phlebotomist everything has been a positive and timely process. Particular credit to the public facing staff in reception who are possibly the most kind and patient team I have encountered. I honestly see the value of the way the team operate irrespective of their role, it is clear that they are value one another. I say this as a menopausal depressed woman who cannot even answer my own date of birth over the phone without cognitive issue (which is often amusing to me but also - how did this happen to me I feel 21 mentally). I am struck by the empathy in spite of many issues GP's are facing nationally. It is only fair to give credit where it is due and extend my thanks for their patience and diligence in helping my treatment and care regime publicly. Thanks so much for making the move home far easier.
"Excellent multi-disciplinary practice"
