"She was an angel to us both"

I would like this feedback to get to nurse practitioner Lindsay. My husband and I attended for a pre-assessment for lung surgery. The nursing auxiliary Kirsty was so kind. We were full of questions and she reassured us that Lindsay would be able to answer them.

We went in to her room, we were welcomed with a warm smile. She took time to ask us about us. We even showed her photos of our grandchildren. It didn't feel like a hospital appointment. We then got on to my examination. She explained everything so well and made me feel at ease.

I have since been in and had my surgery. I asked nurses on ward to pass on my thanks to Lindsay. 

She was an angel to us both. I wanted to run away and she gave me the encouragement that I would be looked after and get through this. And I did. So thank you 😊
