"GP visit with unwell baby"

About: Borders General Practices

(as a parent/guardian),

I phoned my gp surgery 2pm for my baby. He has been unwell for  two weeks with croup and had developed an ear infection. I spoke to the receptionist who advised the GP would call me back. The GP called me back ten minutes later and saw my child within half an hour. Really going above and beyond. He listened to my concerns and reassured me. Putting me at ease

Dear lotionmx49

Thank you for taking the time to use Care Opinion to share your experience of your visit to your GP with your unwell baby. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you.

I am so pleased to hear of the quick response from your GP practice during which would have been an anxious time for you. I hope your baby has now fully recovered.

Can you please reply or email me at karen.maitland@nhs.scot when you have a moment with the name of your GP practice so I can share your feedback with them directly? They will appreciate hearing your positive feedback.

Thanks
Karen
