Following a chest infection that caused deafness in my right ear I visited the surgery to ensure that there shouldn't be any permanent aftereffects. The doctor checked my ears and advised that there was no obvious damage such as a rupture, and that the problem was almost certain to be due to an internal pressure build up. I followed his recommendation to obtain some decongestion tablets and a few days later my hearing started to return to normal.
A "least fuss soonest mended" approach requiring minimal cost and intervention from an obviously knowledgeable professional.
"Highly competent practice"
