I was recently admitted with kidney stones to ward 54 and ended up having to have emergency surgery. My time there was filled with the most amazing care. Each and everyone of the staff in ward 54 made me feel so at ease. Particularly my nurse who looked after me from the moment I was admitted to the ward and till I was able to leave. Tiegan was incredible with me, she was incredibly busy but never lost her smile, her cheerful chatter and ensured I was treated to the best of her ability. I was shocked to learn she recently completed her education as a nurse in September because the way she spoke to me about what would happen in the procedure, and the after math of the procedure you would never have guessed.
She (along with each member of staff) in the ward to name a few nurses Ray, Beth, Adele and the health care workers Kirsty and Leigh all cheered me up and the laughter I had on that ward I will always remember and if this is the only way I can thank them then I will. Each one of them are a credit to the ward and the profession!
The student nurses on the ward currently also made me feel so comfortable and it made me feel so well and truly cared for.
"The most amazing caring, kindest staff"
