"Postive scan experience, great staff!"

About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans

(as the patient),

I had a scan on my abdomen and it was a really positive experience! I was quite anxious about the appointment and in particular the cannula as I have rubbish veins. Louise and Agatha were amazing and really put me at ease. They went above and beyond whilst trying to cannulate me and did everything they could to make it a positive experience. I felt very reassured and they were both really friendly. Once the scan started they let me choose music to listen to which was a nice distraction. They checked on me regularly throughout my scan. Both Louise and Agatha were amazing and the care they gave was fantastic. Thank you both!!

Dear Cara17

Thank you so much for sharing your experience following your abdominal scan at the New Victoria Hospital. We’re delighted to hear that Louise and Agatha made what could have been a stressful appointment into such a positive and reassuring one.

It’s wonderful to know that their calm, friendly approach and determination to make you comfortable helped ease your anxiety. Small touches like letting you choose music and checking in regularly throughout the scan show the kind of compassionate, patient-centred care we strive to provide.

Your kind words will be shared with Louise, Agatha, and the wider team. They’ll be thrilled to know the difference they made to your experience.

Take Care

Nicole
