Emergency admission to ward 103 with heart attack symptoms. Late evening, near the end of June 2025. I was immediately put at ease by student nurse Milly, and next morning received great care above and beyond expected by a nurse whose name may have been Martina or Martika (apologies) who organised return travel to my home in Scottish Borders.
A very stressful time to be diagnosed with heart failure made more bearable by the professional yet personal care shown by all.
And nurse Ronan in ward 6 evaluation ward at BGH whose patience with the other patients was excellent, in trying conditions.
"Fantastic care and attention"
