"Visited ward 15 and I was welcomed and all my worries is gone."

About: Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15)

(as a parent/guardian),

As I said my little boy was not feeling well and I visited the GP immediately but I was referred to the General Hospital to ward 15 where he was well looked after. Upon entering the reception I was perfectly welcomed, Per their frequent visitation to where my child bed was I thought I was the only person with sick child that day but not knowing that was their way of work and I went say all went good. How they talk to a client and frequent assurance made me feel relaxed and also all that they said happened by time and smoothly. Later and sooner my boy was okay and I was discharged home. On a percentage of treatment, care and service, I will say 99.99%.

Thank you echoec89 for taking the time to share your experience with us.

I'm sorry to hear that your son was unwell, it can be a very daunting time for a child (and parents) if they need to come into hospital. However, it is lovely to hear that he was well looked after and he staff were attentive to his needs and put you as a patent at ease.

I hope he has continued on his road to recovery and feeling better.

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us - I will share your kind words with the staff, they will be delighted!

Kind Regards

Claire
