"Respiratory medicine"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

Today I attended the BelfBCH, Resp, Biologics (N),Nurse at Respiratory Medicine.  I was seen by a wonderful nurse and typically I forgot her name.

Today I started monthly injections of mepolizumab. The nurse I saw was wonderful and explained the procedure to me in full. She was in no rush and gave me time to take in all the information. She allowed me to have a few practice runs and when I was suitably confident I was able with her guidance to inject myself.

I would appreciate it if you could relay my thanks to her.

Hello, my name is Kay, I am one of the nurses within the difficult asthma team.

As a team we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience during your visit with us. As starting Biologic therapy for patients is a big part of our service, this feedback is very important to let us know how our delivery is being received.

We as a team wish you well with your biologic treatment, and are always at the end of the phone if you need advice and support.
