"It took far too much effort!"

About: James Wigg Practice

It took far too much effort to get a simple change to my Nasobec Aqueous prescription implemented; even after it had been approved. I was trying to sync my medications so I only need one trip a month, but the request was wrongly rejected, requiring multiple follow-ups just to correct something that should have been straightforward.

This isn’t just about medication, it’s about a system that is fragile and often not working for patients. The disconnect between pharmacy, GP, and patient is stressful and exhausting, especially for people managing long-term conditions.

I'm grateful the issue was eventually fixed, but the lack of joined-up care shows how far the NHS has fallen. Patients shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic, approved care. It’s time this system worked with us, not against us.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry for the frustration and stress caused by the delays and communication issues you experienced. We understand how important it is for patients, especially those managing long-term conditions, to have a smoother, more joined-up service. Please contact us at jw.communications@nhs.net so we can investigate your concerns further.

Kind regards,

James Wigg Management
