"Pre-Op Assessment"

About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Pre-Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I was invited to attend for this assessment prior to being booked for day procedure.

I was checked in by a friendly receptionist who checked my details and told me where to wait.

After a short wait I was taken by a nurse for various screenings i.e.  blood tests, ECG, etc.

I was returned to waiting room to await being called by a different nurse who was friendly, professional and took time to ask numerous questions and answer any queries I had. I was then given written documents to take home with me.
