"Made to feel at ease"

About: Dementia and Older Persons Mental Health

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My grandmother was referred by her GP because her memory has been getting worse. It wasn’t too long before her first appointment. The nurse we met that day was really lovely, absolutely fantastic, and very funny. My grandmother really enjoyed the humour. The assessment went well; it was not too strenuous, and the nurse made her feel at ease. They had a good laugh while completing a thorough assessment.
