In 2023 I was admitted following a fall home. All tests showed nil or negative results but an MRI scan showed multiple disc problems with a bulging disc impinging on a lumbar nerve root. Nothing was done about it at the time. In 2024, I began having multiple falls and, in 2024 I was found unresponsive by a neighbour who phoned for an ambulance and I found myself in hospital where the Consultant again ignored the findings of the MRI scan and preferred to concentrate on my memory 'problems'. The outcome of this episode was a diagnosis of a possible seizure and again the spinal problems were not addressed. All in all, my life is now totally destroyed with many of my interests having to stop due to mobility problems and the risk of falling together with the pain in my back. At least it has been proven that I do not have dementia which was all that the Consultant seemed to focus on.
"Poor standard of care"
