"Excellent care"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I want to thank all the wonderful staff in the ED present in June when I arrived with an excruciatingly painful dislocated hip, 3 months following a hip replacement.

The staff were so kind and efficient, getting me safely out of the car, looking after me in the ED, Xray and then putting the hip back in place under a quick anaesthetic.

Of particular note were Tom, the RN and the doctors Fred and the other doctor -sorry I can’t remember your name.

I felt so fortunate to be cared for so well by such a caring, competent team. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your recent visit to the Emergency Department. We’re so pleased to hear that you felt well cared for during what must have been a very painful and distressing time.

Your kind words about the compassion, efficiency, and professionalism of the team mean a great deal to us. We’re especially glad to hear that you felt safe, reassured, and in capable hands throughout your care.

We have passed your thanks on to the staff involved.

Wishing you continued recovery and all the very best going forward.

Warm regards,

Tamara Garcia
