"Brain tumor and possible brain cancer"

About: Lagan Valley Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit (MAU)

(as the patient),

I was feeling bad for a few weeks with slurred speech. Something made me go to lagan valley. I was a addressed by what I would call a guardian angel (Ellen). She tested my functions for a possible stroke. She had to really push the consultant for a c.t scan in which she prevailed. Hours passed as I awaited results. She was with me every step of the way. She took me into the consultancy room and broke the bad news. This lady is possibly the person who saved my life as I was due to fly abroad. I would problem have died in that flight. We need more people like her who care, take pride in work and wants to save lives. She saved me there's no two way about it!

Thank  you from me and my family

Thank you very much for these kind words I will share this with the Ellen and the wider team. It is always refreshing to hear positive feedback from our patients.
