ERCP Procedure

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Day Procedure Unit

(as the patient),

I had an ERCP procedure today at the Endoscopy unit in the RVH .

I arrived at 8am and was seen promptly by one of the nurses who took all my details.

The Endoscopic procedure was explained to me in great detail both by the nurse and the consultant .

The care i received before and after the procedure was excellent by all.

The staff were all very friendly , professional and attentive, making my experience a very pleasant one.

I am delighted to hear you had such a positive and very pleasant experience despite having an ERCP. It sounds like you had that support the whole way through your journey. This is lovely to hear.

Our team try their best to make every patient feel at ease. We recognise coming to hospital for a procedure can be unnerving so the team do their very best to alleviate any fears and provide support through a patient's visit. It's lovely to hear when we get things right. I will pass on your thanks to the team who love to hear what they do daily is appreciated.
