"Care gone downhill"

We have been with Stanmore since moving to Stevenage years ago but the patient care we have experienced has gone steadily downhill. My wife who is had a pain to the left of her eye that was adversely affecting her sleep. A visit to the opticians established that her eye was ok. She filled in a form to see a Doctor and the response was that they were busy and she should call 111 or visit Lister Urgent care walk in.

I had had a kidney stone removed and was late in submitting my request for my statins. I requested replacements 5 days before I needed them but on visiting the surgery was told that 5 working days were required and there was nothing I could do to advance this.

As patients, we did not feel any benefit from being registered at Stanmore.
