"Oral surgery"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

My eldest child was scheduled to have a tooth removed due to her additional needs, which made it unable to happen at our dentist. Prior to her date of surgery in her pre op assessment we were given a NHS Passport which we had never heard of before which highlighted all of her needs and anxieties. On the day of her surgery she was given the most amazing treatment and every member of the team from start to finish kept her calm and talked through everything with her so she was able to understand what each step would be. Her aftercare was equally brilliant, so I couldn’t recommend the oral department high enough as they all went above and beyond and really made my eldest feel involved and not scared at all. Thank you Royal Surrey

Thank you for letting us know your lovely feedback about your child's surgery for a tooth removal. We're so pleased to hear that the NHS Passport helped with her comfort and ease during the visit and that the team made such a difference with their care and attention. We will share your message with the team and this will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Kind regards from the Patient Experience Team
