"Most positive labour with first baby"

Early May, 2025, I went into labour with my first baby. I had an incredibly positive experience with Kiera, who was assigned to me as my midwife that day. From start to finish, she was fantastic! Kiera was so lovely in general, and she reassured me throughout labour. Kiera was very informative and supportive and extremely patient with me! The care I received from her was 10/10 and I feel incredibly lucky to have had such a lovely midwife. I will never forget her or my positive experience! The biggest of thank yous Kiera! 

I must also mention that all other staff whom I came into contact with, were brilliant! Each and every person showed patience and compassion as they supported me in breastfeeding, dressing my baby for the first time and the start of my recovery. My experience on the postpartum ward was also very good. My baby needed additional monitoring throughout our stay, and once again, every single staff member was just fantastic! Their reassurance was key in what was an alien time to me. From doctors and nurses, to midwives and paediatricians , everyone was so lovely. I cannot thank the staff enough for contributing to the most positive birth/labour process that I could have asked for. You are all amazing and very much appreciated.
