The HCA who did my nhs check and follow up appointment is amazing and very friendly. Always a pleasure to see. However behaviour of some staff - one in particular who is incredibly loud and hostile to other staff. I have heard this individual from around the corner snapping nastily to other staff when they have seemingly asked for help “leave me alone!!” Or “what????? For god sake give me a break and leave me alone I’m too tired and stressed for this just leave me alone” It’s very loud and not said in a joviant jokey manner it’s said aggressively and it creates a bad vibe and the poor guy seemed embarrassed and slightly upset when sat back at the front desk knowing the patients such as myself and my partner heard it. It’s not the first time I’ve heard this from this person ever, a morning 2 weeks ago when I was having my nhs check with the lovely HCA the same aggression from this person was exerted to another reception administrator when they innocently called their name it was met with the same level of anger “what?! Can’t you see I’m doing something just leave me alone”. Following several huffs and puffing. I think the staff just need to shape up their approach especially when patients are eavesdropping. It’s a shame think there’s hostility between staff when the team generally is a good one from what myself and partner have experienced. It’s slightly unprofessional and should be discussed through the correct channels rather than displayed so openly. I felt I had to say something here with the hope things change as it is generally a very good surgery with excellent doctors working there currently. I had an excellent experience with the new trainee doctor who went above and beyond to help my partner get treatment. And like i said myself and partner both have tremendous respect for the HCA and the practice nurse who’s care and patient bedside manner is impeccable.
