We met Eva thanks to our first social worker Jodi in October 2024. Since then Eva has been able to develop a really special relationship with my son, who has ASD and very limited communication abilities. One day a week she has taken him for a walk around Belfast and even one lovely sunny day for a long walk in the beach from Holywood to Bangor. He has enjoyed immensely his time with his now friend Eva, and every week is looking forward to see her and spend time with her. Eva has given him an opportunity to feel not only independent from his mother and father, but to have a friend on his own right. It has been extremely rewarding for us to see him so keen to go with her and to be so happy to see her every week. We feel that his communication skills have improved since he has met with her.
