"Getting a prescription takes 4 attempts"

Tried to get an item on repeat prescription which was originally authorised by st george's. Went to reception who requested the doctor to add it and immediately precribe as had none left from the hospital. Went to the pharmacy to find out it wasn't done after two days so ended up having to get an appointment. Prescription was authorised but it still wasn't added to the online repeat. GP reception saw the notes from the appointment saying it should be on repeat. Now have to wait another week as the doctor doesn't attend till Thursday and reception says another doctor can't authorise it.. why not?
