"Poor service "

About: Sloan Medical Centre

Told by hospital to contact surgery after recent spinal surgery to check wound and redress, only appointment offered was next Wednesday at 7pm which was not appropriate as my mobility remains poor and far too late, asked if my wife could collect some dressings told no as they need to see size of wound, explained that I knew what size but refused and told to go to pharmacy, I do not feel this is appropriate aftercare and do not want to make a GP appointment to check the wound wasting his/hers time when someone could use the time. A few years ago time would have been made for me to go in and not offered very late appointment for what I require especially as no home visits from nurse.
