I was sexually assaulted back in March 2024. I started my treatment with Halima a few months later. The journey has been a bit of a roller coaster. Halima not only was very patient with me as I don't find talking about things very easily I get frustrated as I have ADHD also. But she was kind and understood me and took it all at my own pace so there was no rush. Even when it came to discharging me. The week i was meant to i had had a bad week so we extended this for a few more weeks. Made me feel heard and gave me some really good tools to be able to cope on my own when discharged.
I honestly can not thank her enough for all she has done. Halima, you are amazing and I will definitely be keeping in touch. We have had laughter and tears a long the way and now my friday mornings wont be that same. Thank you for all you did for me
