"Treatment following a dog bite"

I would like to say how truly amazing the treatment I received from the moment I contacted 111 . I arrived at the minor injuries emergency department with a dog bite to my right thumb , and within a couple of hours received a competent assessment, treatment ,X-ray , antibiotics and advised I would be contacted the following day by phone regarding my follow up . 

Indeed I was contacted and advised I should return to the SPEAC department . There I was assessed by Dr Panikkar who in her gentle kind and most professional competent manner explained the minor surgery procedure I would need to have that day . The entire team were friendly , caring and kind throughout the time in the department, and Apple in particular who is one of the receptionists was extremely helpful with regards to the follow up appointment time. 

I cannot thank you enough for all the reassurance and treatment I received throughout my time at the hospital.
