"A delight to talk to"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Speech and Language Therapy

(as a relative),

Saw Emily the speech therapist in May, she was professional and cheerful and was a delight to talk to.

Her advice was first class, even the GP did not know how to help the Emily did, with a suggested medication.

Dad is in a much better and happier place. We are very grateful to Emily.

Thank you.

What could be improved?

More staff, especially community based staff, I feel that would help improve patient care.

Dear Empathyty93,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive response. I am pleased that Emily provided both a professional and cheerful service, and that in particular her advice with regard to Medication was first class. It is good to hear too that Dad is much better and in a happier place. I will be sure to pass on your thanks and positive feedback to Emily and the Speech and Language Therapy Team.

I note your suggestion of additional staffing to improve Patient care and will ensure that this is forwarded this to the relevant Department.

Kind regards

Sara
