"The utmost compassion and professionalism"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical)

(as a relative),

Our elderly mother’s health deteriorated quite rapidly necessitating a 999 call. From time of that call to her death 14 hours later she was cared for with the utmost compassion and professionalism.

The paramedics who attended were gentle and reassuring.

The  VHK A&E staff were kind and respectful to both her and us and found a single room for her very quickly.

The medical and nursing staff on Admissions unit one could not have cared for her better and made her so comfortable in her last hours. They also looked after the family despite being incredibly busy.

Thank you
