"Outstanding service throughout my pregnancy"

I just want to say the biggest thank you to the incredible team of midwives who supported me throughout this journey.

To Sarah, Grace, and Vicky – thank you for your constant care and support throughout my pregnancy (and my last one!). Your kindness, reassurance, and expertise made all the difference, and I always feel in safe hands with you. You all go above and beyond your role and you have had such a positive impact on me and my family’s lives.  You all bring such a personal touch – it never felt like just a routine appointment, it felt like genuine support and care! 

To Rachel, thank you from the bottom of my heart for safely delivering our second baby girl and for being by my side throughout labour. Your calm presence, humour, knowledge and encouragement meant so much to both me and my husband. You not only guided me with my “surges”, breathing and relaxation, but you took the time to teach my husband pressure points and massage techniques so he could be involved and support me in such a meaningful way – something we will both always remember. 

You all have such a natural gift for midwifery — it’s clear this is exactly where you’re meant to be!

To Angela in the induction bay, your warm, funny and light-hearted nature made me feel instantly more relaxed and at ease, and I’m so grateful for that during what could have been a very overwhelming time! 

To Aisling, the sister on the induction bay, your support as I moved into labour was so appreciated – thank you for being there with your expertise, support and reassurance! 

To Sarah , thank you also for bringing me and my baby to the ward after birth and, most importantly, for reassuring me that you’d be around if I needed anything during the night.

And finally, to Rachel, Vicky, and Sarah again – thank you for being there post-partum. Your continued care in those precious first hours and days meant so much to us as a new family.

You are all truly amazing and I’ll always be grateful for everything you did for us.
