"Shame there are only the three!"

About: Maternity / Journey to Parenthood Programme

(as a service user),

We have just finished the Journey to Parenthood classes which were taken by Julie and Noreen. Both ladies were down to earth, professional and provided insight from their experiences working within maternity services as well as being mums themselves. I felt they put my mind at ease when covering the different topics and also referred us to other helpful resources if anyone wanted to find out more information on things such as hypnobirthing or feeding.

We found the classes invaluable and it's a shame there are only the three! Thank you both.

I would like to thank you both for sharing your thoughts and appreciation following your attendance to the Trusts antenatal education classes - The Journey to parenthood. whilst we deliver both face to face education and online programmes. I am delighted that you and your birthing partner had the opportunity to attend face to face classes with myself and Noreen.

You have highlight the importance of how information regarding labour and birth has been invaluable to you and your partner. Understanding all options enables you to make informed decisions about your care which ultimately impacts on your personal experience of Maternity services.

I am delighted you were able to attend our face to face Hypnobirthing classes and the online Infant feeding workshop. That you found them useful in developing skills and techniques to support your own birthing journey but also build your self confidence and knowledge in managing labour, birth and nurturing your newborn baby.

I will pass your appreciation on to Noreen and I would like to wish you both, all the best for your birthing journey and baby's safe arrival.

kind regards Julie.
