My mum as above named attends the Podiatry clinic at the windrush medical centre on wednesdays at 1330pm. Last week and this week she became very distressed after those appointments. She has not become distressed after previous appointments.
The podiatrist she saw last week and this week, said she was allergic to hard work. Not sure why she said that.
She has also told my mum that she must rest her feet and not to walk far. it is my understanding that exercise is important for people to exercise to get blood flowing through their bodies. This distresses my mum being told to rest because she wants to walk as far as she can manage and wants to try.
I would be grateful as an experienced podiatrist yourself if you could clarify whether or not my mum should walk as much as possible. Why should my mum continue to rest her feet? and rest with hardly any walking will it cause any damage to her feet if she walks rather than rests all the time.?
