"They were so kind and compassionate"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service

(as a relative),

My Dad unfortunately passed away unexpectedly at home mid June. Paramedic Allan and student Shannon attended and my Mum and I were really touched not just by the way they looked after my Dad but also us too.

They were so kind and compassionate and made everything so much easier for us.  A credit to the SAS.  Thank you so much.

Dear Victoria,

Firstly I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad passing away. I can only imagine what a difficult time this must be for you and your family and my thoughts go out to you all. Thank you for submitting such lovely feedback about our staff especially under such circumstances. This feedback means such a great deal to our staff. I'm pleased to hear that your dad and your family received such good care from Allan and Shannon and that you found them kind and compassionate.

I would love to be able to pass this wonderful feedback onto the crew involved. To do so we would need to know the date, time and address that the Ambulance attended and your father's name. This information can be sent to sas.feedback@nhs.scot for the team to pick up. If you do decide to do this, would you be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username so that the team can easily locate your story and share it with the crew.

I wish you and your family all the very best and thanks again.

Kind Regards

Marie,

Patient Experience Manager
