"Long wait for an urgent referral"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire University Hospital Monklands / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Went to GP october 2024. On examination GP said they could see something on my cervix and it had to be investigated, so sent an urgent referral.

6 months later I'm getting a lot of pain an back to go again for another urgent referral and an ultrasound. 33 weeks I've been waiting, so telephoned up - the wait was 37 weeks when I was first referred it is now 52 for urgent referral.

Crazy - so nearly a year wait for something that could be something.
