"Caring, attentive, knowledgable, excellent communication"

About: Paediatrics / Paediatric Assessment Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had some symptoms with no clear cause. Staff were friendly and approachable to both myself and my son - examined him thoroughly, always explaining what and why they were doing each aspect. Listened attentively to all the details of our story. Gave me open access and direct line for support/admission if symptoms persisted once home again. Trusted all staff skills and knowledge -left with full peace of mind that my son was in safe hands. Thank you!

Dear Baby Jackdaw

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us via care opinion following your recent admission to the Children's Unit.

We know if can be a really worrying time when your child becomes unwell and needs to come into hospital, and I'm so pleased that you felt so well cared for and listened to. I hope your son is feeling much better and is now at home recovering.

We are incredibly lucky to have an amazing team here in Paediatrics and I will pass your fabulous feed back on to the whole team

Thank you once again for taking the time to write to us

Kind Regards

Angela Giles
