"Amazing with my wee one"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Minor Injuries Assessment Service Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Xrays & Scans

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended a&e with my child who had a fractured wrist. Seen promptly by triage nurse who was lovely, popped it in a sling and given appointment for next door MIU an hour later. Seen by ENP trainee Amie who was amazing with my wee one, the first time she stopped crying in 2 hours was down to Amie spending time with her and reassuring her she was so lovely! Seen really quickly by xray, the radiologist sorry I’d didn’t catch her name was really great and done everything in a child friendly way. We were seen again by Amie who showed my wee one her xray and explained the fracture to her. Amie was really friendly , compassionate and made us all feel at ease and well informed. Thank you so much you made a stressful situation so much better!

Good afternoon cetusnz65

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your recent visit to the emergency department and minor injury unit. I am so glad your wee one settled with Amie.

Your kind feedback will be shared with Amie and the x-ray team.

I hope the wee one is recovering well with her injury

Take care

Tracey
