"Fabulous Dr in ED"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I’ve seen Dr Bambi a few times over the last few months with my cardiac problems in the ED.

I was in ED with intermittent atrial flutter which needed to be caught on the cardiac monitor in the department. To achieve this, Dr Bambi and I walked fairly briskly through the department, and then attached to the cardiac monitor in my cubicle. At this stage, my atrial flutter was seen!

I felt supported and listened to throughout this ED visit and following review by Dr Mo, I was admitted to CCU where I had my medication sorted out.

Dear Jacks J

Thank you so much for sharing your experience during what must have been a very stressful time for you.

We're so pleased to hear that Dr Bambi, Dr Mo, and the teams in ED and CCU delivered such attentive and compassionate care throughout your stay.

Feeling supported and listened to is exactly what we aim for, and it’s wonderful to know that was your experience throughout—from the Emergency Department to your admission in CCU.

We’ll ensure your kind words are passed on to the teams involved who I'm sure will be touched to hear your generous feedback.

Kind regards

Kevin
