I have been trying to get my adoptive child’s profile updated, including linking her medical history and vaccination records to her new NHS number, for over four months now. Despite repeatedly contacting the surgery, absolutely no progress has been made.
Each time I reach out, I’m told to submit a new request—as if none of my previous communications ever happened. There is no continuity, no acknowledgement of past efforts, and clearly no effective system in place to track or manage patient updates.
This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious administrative failure that could impact my child’s healthcare. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to deal with such inefficiency, especially when it concerns a child’s medical wellbeing.
