About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Special Care Baby Unit Maternity care / Delivery suite / MLU Maternity care / Maternity/Gynae Outpatients

(as the patient),

I would like to thank the incredible midwives and medical staff at Daisy Hill maternity team for their excellent care to me throughout my pregnancy to delivery. I would like to especially thank the lovely midwives Aine and Margaret in the delivery suite who both took such great care of me when I arrived, so kind, dignified and compassionate in your jobs, I felt so calm, safe and well informed that morning. To the amazing consultants Dr Saha and Dr Loane for my treatment after delivery and outpatient follow up. My baby was born with cleft lip and palate and he received the best care and attention in SCBU for the first two days. 

There are so many names of staff in maternity outpatient, assessment/delivery unit, maternity ward and SCBU I'd love to mention and thank here, but you are all truly brilliant to your professions and should be proud of the team you work in!

Firstly, congratulations again on the birth of your baby, and I would like to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on the care you received.

Our staff are dedicated and committed to providing safe, effective, woman centred and compassionate care and I am delighted that this was your experience in the Maternity outpatient, Maternity assessment unit, Delivery Suite, Maternity Ward and SCBU.
