"The staff are so brilliant"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Fractured my spine have to go to the trauma assessment unit on 3a twice a week for collar care. Terrie, Debbie Kat and the rest of the staff are so brilliant -  shave you, clean your neck, cut your hair, make sure you are healing properly, treat you with respect and I treat them with respect. I do look forward to seeing them, we laugh and joke, they make you feel human not just a number, they should be commended all who work on 3a thank you for your service, ladies and gent.

I’m so sorry to hear about your spinal fracture — that must be incredibly tough. But it’s heartening to know you were in such good hands. Terrie, Debbie, Kat, and the whole team on 3A are absolutely amazing and I am so proud of my team on 3A. The way they cared for you with such compassion and respect is truly inspiring. It’s wonderful that you’ve built that kind of connection with them — laughter and kindness make such a difference in healing.

Take care

Jo
