"Great Care"

Having had a fall whilst on holiday in Mersea and fractured my wrist - i cannot fault the treatment that I received from the Ambulance Crew, Nurses, Consultants and Surgeons. I was taken to the Urgent Trauma Dept where they assessed my injury and decided surgery was required, i was placed in a plaster cast and sent home to await a call to come in for surgery which I got 3 days later. Surgery was carried out where I had a plate fixed as it was a bad fracture and kept in overnight - the nurses on Oldam Ward were amazing as were the anesthetist and the surgeons. I was discharged and given a follow up appointment for today. This went like clockwork - app for 2.15pm - seen by Plaster room, xray and consultant and out by 3pm. if only ball hospitals were as efficient. I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and support. I live over an hour from this Hospital but am more than happy to travel to reecive such good care.
