"Amazing Help"

I am now just two sessions away from finishing my C.B.T therapy, and I am terrified of the thought of going it alone. But at the same time I now know as long as I persist and keep using what I have been taught, I know I will keep progressing. This is purely due to Somerset talking therapies.

If you are really struggling to find your path or find help with mental illness, I can't recommend them enough.

My therapist was always happy to help in any way she could. She was always friendly. Anything she didn't know she would look it up herself so she would have the information for the future.

Every experience I've had with these things, has always made me feel secluded, but working with s.t.t gives you a connection with your therapist.

Yes I am upset because now I technically have to keep working on things by myself, but It's thanks to them that I can work on things myself.

100% would recommend to anyone who is struggling with mental health and needs help. It is a long process but they will definitely help point you in the direction you want to go.

I make sure that patients, families, carers, and the public have a real say in how healthcare services within our Trust are shaped and improved. I listen to feedback, gather insights from patient stories, and work with teams to make changes that really matter to the people using our services. I use platforms like Care Opinion to understand experiences—what’s working well and what could be better—so that we can keep improving care in a way that truly puts patients first.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s completely understandable to feel nervous about finishing therapy and stepping out on your own, that’s a big moment! It is brilliant to read that you have the tools to keep going, which is really inspiring.

It’s lovely to hear how your therapist made you feel supported and connected. Having someone who listens and cares makes such a difference, especially when things can feel isolating.

We’re really glad Somerset Talking Therapies could be there for you when you needed it most. Thanks for recommending them so honestly, your words will definitely help others who might be struggling to take that first step.

Wishing you all the best as you keep moving forward. You’ve got this!

Kind Regards

Issy
